Theatre – Q-Kid Rap
La Phoenikera is home to nationally acclaimed playwright Guillermo Reyes. This week, Rising Youth Theatre and the School of Transborder Studies at ASU are presenting the first public reading of his new play Q-Kid Rap. Directed by Sarah Sullivan, the play explores the complexities and crisis of teen suicide and depression for LGBTQ youth. The play is recommended for audiences 13 and up.
