A few years ago a writer from a national publication didn’t mince his words when hating on Phoenix, and deem it the worst place ever. The writer achieved two things: It made us read the whole thing and at the end we wanted to write something back (punch him in the face).
So, like a piece of choclo (elote) stuck between our molars, we wanted to extract that awful feeling and create a counter narrative. We wanted to create a platform to show that Phoenix Rises, one that Phoenikerxs can contribute to and benefit from.
