Film – Catching Babies
The film Catching Babies by Barni Axmed Qaasim will be showing this weekend as part of The Sagrado Galleria’s experiential exhibit Mujeres del Desierto. The screening will be followed by a talk with Cihuapactli Collective, a group of local birth workers from La Phoenikera who seek to provide a diverse perspective on birthing as a ceremony and ancestral practice.
