The Lightrail Plays 2017 – February 17 – February 26
The #LightRailPlays by Rising Youth Theatre are back! Sign up for a public art tour on the Valley Metro Light Rail System. Eight short plays will be performed on the trains and at the stops from Roosevelt to Camelback. You must purchase a light rail pass to join in on the excitement. Organizers will be on-site to assist you at the kiosk if needed.
Check-in will occur at the Central/Roosevelt light rail station each day. You should arrive to meet your Tour Guides 15 minutes before the start time of your tour to ensure your group doesn’t leave without you. If tickets sell out online, a limited number will be held at the check-in point at Roosevelt.
Rising Youth Theatre is a theatre company centered on the stories and experiences of youth. Through collaborations between professional artists and young people ages 2 to 24, youth participants create and perform in age- and skill-appropriate theatre experiences, ranging from short process-based residencies to fully produced productions.
