Suéltate, Microtheatre in Phoenix – February 17
For the second time in La Phoenikera, Suéltate, a monologue by Spanish playwright Marc Egea, will be performed. The play stars Peruvian actress and singer Greta Skelly.
Suéltate is a 30-minute play in Spanish in which Vanessa, a maintenance worker for the city, learns that a man is about to commit suicide by jumping off the building where she works. She tries to convince him to wait until her shift ends so she doesn’t have to clean.
The event will include wine, o’dourves, and a talk after the play.
